Cleansing from Psychic Disturbances

There are times in the home that things can be hectic and are lacking peace.  When this happens, some believe that this can be a problem with upsetting disturbances and that there can be hauntings that are present in the house.

It is important to cleanse the house so that you can get rid of anything that is not meant to be there.  These hauntings can take place after a loved one dies or after a spirit comes there that is not able to move on to the next realm.

  • Air the house out for several hours by opening up the screens and the doors. If the weather is good, do this from daylight to dark so that everything can be open and clear.  Do this at least twice a year to make sure your house is airy.

Next, make sure that you have everything that you need such as:

  • Candles
  • Flowers

Pour some salt into the water and say a simple prayer about sanctifying the house.  Use the water to preserve and cleanse the house.  Add your own prayer and make sure that you are saying it in a meaningful way because this is very powerful and the most important part.

Sprinkle Water

Next, take some water and sprinkle it all over the house, on the walls, on the door frames, on the windows, carpets, furniture and everywhere.

Pour it Outside

Take the rest of the salt and water and pour them outside of the house.  Say the names of all the people who live in the house and include yourself and your pets.  Say a blessing and a protection over each person and sprinkle and then pour the water around the house as a protection.

Light a Candle

The next thing to do is to light a small candle and light some incense.  Leave it until it completely burns out.

Flowers

Put fresh flowers into the house so that you can bring nature inside.
